Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by our courteous English-speaking Chauffeur Guide and transferred to a cheerful beachfront hotel in Negombo.

Day 02: Negombo – Habarana
After breakfast leave for the beautiful village of Habarana. Check in at a luxury hotel in Habarana.
Relax with your family in the pool or take a walk in the sprawling well tended hotel gardens, often frequented by many varieties of colourful birds.
Day 03: Habarana – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa
After breakfast leave for medieval Sri Lanka’s iconic citadel in the sky, Sigiriya. Rising majestically above the surrounding plains, Sigiriya is home to genius works of art, architecture, landscaping, town-planning, and engineering. This distinguished historic site is unofficially titled the “Eighth Wonder of the World” by many.
Head off to the ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa, an equally impressive destination steeped in history, culture, and heritage. Enjoy a family picnic lunch in the vicinity of the Parakrama Samudraya, an ancient man – made reservoir, commissioned by Sri Lanka’s eminent king Parakramabahu I.
Return to your hotel in Habarana by evening. Retire for the night after enjoying an early dinner.
Day 04: Habarana
Explore the beautiful village of Habarana – opt for one of two excursions.
Option 1 – a guided family cycling tour.
Option 2 – leave for a trekking tour of the village and witness the life and livelihood of rural villagers in Sri Lanka. You will also have the opportunity of riding a traditional bullock-cart and enjoying a boat cruise on the Hiriwadunna Lake.

Day 05: Habarana – Kandy
After breakfast, leave for the heritage city of Kandy visiting the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens en-route. Enjoy a family picnic lunch at the Gardens.
Occupying an impressive 147-acre expanse, the Peradeniya Gardens afford a delightful botanical wonderland for the youngsters to roam free, expend some energy and marvel over the intriguing wonders of nature – a time to smell the fragrant flowers, stumble on camouflaged beetles, bugs and butterflies and observe the amusing macaque monkeys foraging in the treetops whilst large groups of flying foxes dangle from the branches, unaffected by the commotion.
Check in at a hotel in Kandy. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in the evening and witness religious and cultural rites and rituals being performed.

Day 06: Kandy – Bentota
After breakfast leave for the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, which is home to around 90 orphaned elephants. This encounter with the gentle giants, is guaranteed to delight the young ones and adults alike. Watching the orphaned elephant calves being hand-fed by staff out of oversized milk bottles and witnessing the elephants enjoying their daily bath in the Ma Oya river is a truly engaging experience.
Head for Bentota by late afternoon. Overnight at a luxury resort property in Bentota.
Days 07 & 08: Bentota
Enjoy relaxed family time in Bentota lounging at the beach and enjoying the temperate tropical climate and the blissful sun-sea-sand experience. Watersport options too are available in abundance – make your pick from a myriad of aquatic recreation such as surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, water-skiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, and canoeing.
Day 09: Bentota
After breakfast make a visit to the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda. This conservation exercise begins with purchasing turtle eggs from poachers and taking care of these until hatching takes place. Thereafter, the delicate hatchlings are released to the Indian Ocean. At the hatchery, you may get an opportunity to release these endearing marine babies to their safe refuge – the seamless open ocean.
Day 10: Bentota – Colombo
After breakfast leave for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital.
Upon reaching Colombo, your Chauffeur Guide will take you on a leisurely paced city tour. Do not forget to seize a few shopping bargains along the way. You will be spoilt for choice as Colombo is home to some glitzy department stores and chic boutique outlets as well as compelling street markets that sell colourful handloom products to tie-dye batiks and everything in between.
Spend the evening at leisure and preparing for departure. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner with your family as you reminisce your beautiful holiday in Sri Lanka. We are sure you will be taking back plenty of photos and treasured memories to share with family and friends back home.
Day 11: Colombo – Airport
Departure transfer to the airport.
