Day 01: Airport – Negombo
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our company representatives and transferred to a hotel in Negombo. Unwind and relax, in the comforts of your delightful beachfront hotel.
Negombo is a popular coastal town, conveniently located a quick commute away from the airport. It is a busy and amiable city that can be explored on foot or vehicle. A tuk-tuk ride can be a novel adventure for many, as they whizz past the towns quirky and colourful shopping precincts and noisy markets, in these blaringly loud and vibrantly colourful motorized – rickshaws. Negombo has a stash of good hotels and restaurants to suit all budgets. Most hotels are privileged with beach backyards and BBQ nights, dinners and parties on the beach are quite common in Negombo.

Day 02: Negombo – Kithulgala
After breakfast, leave for Kithulgala. Arrive at the Experiential Learning location in Kithulagla.
Late afternoon – briefing by the trainers on the Experiential Learning Programme. Thereafter, trek to the Beli Lena Cave, a few kilometers from the base hotel in Kithulgala. Archeologist unearthed ten human skeletal remains in these caves; dating back 32,000 years (believed to be descendants of the prehistoric Balangoda Man, dating back 37,000 years).
Kithulgala is a small village landscaped with thick rainforest vegetation and wide banks fringing the boulder dotted Kelani River, providing ideal conditions for rafting, trekking, and hiking adventures. It rose to international fame when David Lean filmed his 1957 Oscar winning epic Bridge on the River Kwai here, on the banks of the ravishing Kelani River. Remnants of the iron bridge can still be seen today.

Days 03 & 04: Kithulgala
You will go through a two-day Experiential Learning Programme, facilitated by experienced trainers; conducted on the banks of river Kelani. All activities will be tailored to suit the specific learning needs of the participant group.
Evenings – River bath in the Kelani River on the first day, after the programme. A trek through the surrounding woodlands on day two.
On the 2nd Day, certificates will be awarded to participants successfully completing the two-day course.

Day 05: Kithulgala – Rathnapura
Morning – White Water Rafting in the Kelani River at Kithulgala (up to Level 4 & 5 rapids; seasonally) followed by a cool and refreshing bath in the river.
Leave for Rathnapura by late afternoon visiting a Gem Lapidary and Museum en-route.
Night stay at a selected hotel in Rathnapura.
Day 06: Rathnapura – Kalawana – Bentota
Leave early morning for a trek through the Sinharaja Rain Forest, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and a world biosphere reserve. You will enter the reserve through its Kudawa entrance in Kalawana, Weddagala. Sinharaja is also the central catchment area of the country. Fauna and flora at Sinharaja are most diverse and the forest is a conducive home to almost all endemic species in the Island. Ranging in altitude from 90 meters to 1170 meters, it is a haven to 147 bird species – 25 out of the 26 endemic birds of Sri Lanka live here. 40 different types of mammals, numerous endemic species of butterflies, fish, crustaceans, and insects make Sinharaja their home.
Head for the coastal town of Bentota by late afternoon. Night stay at a selected hotel in Bentota.
Days 07 & 08: Bentota
Two days of leisure at the breathtaking Bentota beach.
Bentota has one of the widest coconut palm fringed beaches in Sri Lanka, dotted with many high-end resort hotels. It is the famed water sport hub in the island. A short distance away are the Turtle Hatcheries & Protection Centers run by enthusiasts.

Days 09 & 10: Bentota – Colombo:
After breakfast leave for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital. You will be taken on a guided city tour, upon reaching Colombo. Thereafter, check in to a trendy city hotel in Colombo.
Cosmopolitan Colombo is Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and largest urban hub. It is a city packed with an array of attractive accommodation, transport, food, shopping, recreation, nightlife, and sightseeing options. With so much vivacity, and a tourist friendly vibe, Colombo is a destination you are bound to enjoy.
Enjoy an evening of fellowship and camaraderie followed by a memorable poolside dinner, as you bring the curtain down on your exciting tour of Sri Lanka.
Day 11: Colombo – Airport
Departure transfer to the airport.
