Day 01: Airport – Negombo
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you will be met by our friendly English-speaking Chauffeur Guide and transferred to a hotel in Negombo.
Negombo is a cheerful coastal city with an array of hotels and guesthouses catering to all budgets, a stash of restaurants and pubs, a wide endless beach, a bounty rich lagoon, saline wetlands teeming with marine life and vibrant aquatic birds, a smattering of colonial heritage and a friendly community.
Relax, unwind, and acclimatize considering that you just arrived in the island. Retire for an early night after enjoying a scrumptious dinner by the poolside.
Day 02: Negombo – Pinnawela – Kandy
After breakfast leave for Kandy visiting the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela en-route.
The Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, is home to many orphaned and injured elephant calves. This encounter with the gentle giants, is guaranteed to delight. Watching the orphaned elephant calves being hand-fed by staff out of oversized milk bottles and witnessing the elephants enjoying their daily bath in the Ma Oya river is a truly engaging experience.
Upon arrival in Kandy check in to a delightful hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. Visit the sacred temple of the Tooth Relic in the evening.
Nestled in the cool elevations of the central hills, present day Kandy is a cosmopolitan city with a rich heritage and history. Its topography features colonial era buildings, ancient edifices showcasing native Kandyan art and architecture, heritage mansions, sacred temples and shrines, verdant forest reserves, exotic botanical gardens, a historic centerpiece lake and a breathtaking emerald green mountainous backdrop, perpetually enveloped in delicate mist.

Day 03: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
After a leisurely breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya lies at an altitude of 1868m above sea level, in the central highlands and has distinct features that set it apart from the rest of the island. Its salubrious sub tropical highland climate dictates annual temperature averaging between 11° C – 20° C. The dense green mountains of pristine cloud forests rise in all directions enveloping the city of Nuwara Eliya whilst breathtaking waterfalls plunge from its precipitous cliffs.
The present town of Nuwara Eliya has an interesting architectural mix – modern constructions vying for attention against their stately colonial era counterparts. There are many heritage buildings that have been converted to beautiful luxury hotels, which preserve most of their old-world charm.

Day 04: Nuwara Eliya
Option 1 – trek through a rocky woodland to the Bomuruella Waterfall which is one of the widest of its kind in the island.
Bomuruella is immensely popular among tourists and locals for its spectacular beauty and the scenic surrounding.
Option 2 – visit a picturesque tea plantation and factory. Thereafter, make a trip to the Moon Plains (Sandatenna). Arrive at the Mini World’s End, where you will be presented with a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding mountainous landscapes. You will encounter elk and deer grazing on the thick grasslands of Moon Plains. Watch out for birds too, as this nature zone is home to a myriad of birdlife.

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya – Ella
After breakfast leave for the pristine highland destination of Ella.
Ella is a quiet little town which has risen to recent fame as a tourist hot spot in Sri Lanka. You are bound to enjoy the cool salubrious climate, breathtaking landscapes, verdant tea fields, and hideaway hotels, lodges, guest houses and modest home-stay properties. It is an ideal location to wind down the pace and relax whilst connecting with nature.

Day 06: Ella
After breakfast opt for one of the below;
Option 1 – Trek to the alluring Ravana Ella Falls. Enjoy the breathtaking view and the soothing burble of this majestic waterfall followed by a leisurely walk in the countryside mingling with the friendly and charming locals.
Option 2 – Visit the Nine Arches Bridge, a quick walk from your hotel. It is a colonial heritage masterpiece in railway and structural engineering. Trek through the surrounding emerald green tea plantations.
In the afternoon, following option 1 or 2, climb Little Adam’s Peak (a 2 hour round trip), which offers a stunning panoramic view of the Ella Gap.

Day 07: Ella – Weligama
After breakfast proceed to Weligama (meaning ‘Sandy Village’ in the Sinhala Language), one of the most charming little resort towns on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, blessed with a dazzling aqua-marine bay, sultry shoreline with glistening sand and lovely colonial villas with ornately decorated wooden windows, lining its streets.
Upon arrival check-in to a chosen hotel in Weligama. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, in the comforts of your hotel.
Day 08: Weligama
A day of relaxation and lounging at the sheltered natural cove beach of Weligama. The benign surf break is ideal for novice surfers – so why not learn to ride your first wave here if you are one. And of course, you can still take on some waves with ease if you are already a pro.

Day 09: Weligama – Colombo
After breakfast leave for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital. Check in to a city hotel in Colombo.
Cosmopolitan Colombo is the gateway to Sri Lanka. It is a city that offers much choice and variety, ranging from extravagant star class hotels to moderate and budget accommodation and an array of food choices spanning the spectrum from western to eastern, including local Sri Lankan cuisine, served in star class hotels, fine dining restaurants, trendy cafes and of course; the road side kiosks selling hot and spicy street-food for those who dare to take the plunge. Shopping offers a wide choice from glitzy upmarket department stores and chic boutique outlets selling plush brands, to compelling street markets that sell colourful batiks to chintz and everything in between.
Spend the evening relaxing in the hotel pool or rejuvenate your senses at the hotel spa.
Day 10: Colombo
After breakfast proceed on a leisurely paced city tour of Colombo.
Take a slow walk along Colombo’s shady boulevards, stop for a cuppa at a stylish cafe, shop for local merchandise at a chic boutique, visit an urban park for respite, admire the restored colonial architecture, discover Sri Lanka’s past at the National Museum, mingle with the locals to catch a glorious sunset at the Galle Face Green and be inspired by the serenity of a city temple.
Enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner in one of the restaurants of your luxury city hotel, reminiscing your beautiful holiday in Sri Lanka.
Day 11: Colombo – Airport
Departure transfer to airport.
