The Hikkaduwa Marine National Park is home to 170 tropical fish species, 60 coral species and migrating sea turtles. Sea grass and marine algae provide habitat and further character to its seabed teeming with these vibrant and colourful marine inhabitants.
This bountiful sub aquatic ecosystem makes it one of the best locations in the country for snorkelling, scuba diving and glass-bottom boat reef safaris.
Itinerary
After breakfast leave for the Hikkaduwa Marine National Park.
Opt for a glass-bottom boat ride or snorkelling and witness the rich biodiversity of the world famous Hikkaduwa Coral Reef. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant or hotel and relax by the beach. Return to your base hotel in the evening.
